About

Andrew I. Dayes

Mr. Dayes is a trial attorney and the founding partner of the Dayes Law Firm. During law school, Mr. Dayes completed the Civil Government Clinic, where he was exposed to governmental law practice and had the opportunity to work on a variety of governmental law issues, including municipal liability, zoning, ordinances, as well as other issues uniquely pertinent to local governments. He also helped create Stetson’s Shields & Scales, an organization which focuses on the unique legal issues that intertwine law enforcement with the law and served as the organization’s co-President.

After graduating from Stetson Law School in 2002, Mr. Dayes joined a small law firm of extremely capable and fearless lawyers. In that setting, Mr. Dayes began his practice defending clients in a wide range of civil matters, with a focus on personal injury claims. As a solo practitioner, Mr. Dayes has continued his civil trial practice’s focus on the representation of local governments and their employees.

Mr. Dayes is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. An experienced litigator, Mr. Dayes has tried civil cases to verdict in state and federal courts.
